The 1996 Trek 520 is a classic, durable steel touring bike renowned for its reliability on long rides and adventures. One of Trek’s longest-running model line and features a True Temper OX steel frame suitable for carrying heavy loads. Known for his tandems in the 1980’s Angel Rodriguez started a new brand of bicycles, TerraTech, and had them produced in Japan. These were produced in a touring model and a couple mountain bike models. The TerraTech became a favorite with bicycle commuters all over the Northwest. Like Rodriguez, Bruce Gordon, Ritchey, and many other famous frame builders had similar off shoot projects. These well designed steel vintage atbs are hard to come by.
