If you play on or near a river, chances are you or someone you know will find yourself in it. While swimming isn’t in and of itself a rescue situation, knowing how to safely swim in a river and how to respond can be what keeps the best story of the day we becoming the worst story of the trip. Join SVRP for our ACA L4 Swiftwater Rescue courses on May 30 and 31st or June 13 and 14th to learn all about it. Pick your Paddle!

Taking a swiftwater rescue course is the best way to not only improve your safety, but you are ability to enjoy running rivers. Build the skills in the confidence to make good decisions to prevent accidents and to act clearly and calmly should the need arise.
