Ok party people here is Koyukuk! Formally know as Teton. He got to us in a round about way but is settling into his new home nicely. He is one happy go lucky little fella who likes to get all the big dogs howling.
Took awhile to land on a name but in the end kept the theme to honor our public lands. There are 3 forks to the Koyukuk River each with deep meaning to my dogs and I.
From the birth place of my mushing career in the shadows of Frigid and Boreal crags to our mushing and prospecting adventures of today. These rivers run untamed, teaming with wildlife and history.
