Well Boulder wrestling season has concluded and it was a great journey all around.
Nadja and Minnie learned about porcupines while out at camp 🤣🤦🏻, and Koyukuk learned all about camp life and running wild in the Brooks Range. I learned all about starters and how not to trust the auto stores “it fits both modles of engines” comments. We had a good session with mining and a few days at another spot with some good prospects. The crew was excited to get home and enjoy the couch.
Now it’s time to button up the cabin and start fall training. Fingers crossed for another cold snowy winter like last year!!

Ok party people here is Koyukuk! Formally know as Teton. He got to us in a round about way but is settling into his new home nicely. He is one happy go lucky little fella who likes to get all the big dogs howling.
Took awhile to land on a name but in the end kept the theme to honor our public lands. There are 3 forks to the Koyukuk River each with deep meaning to my dogs and I.
From the birth place of my mushing career in the shadows of Frigid and Boreal crags to our mushing and prospecting adventures of today. These rivers run untamed, teaming with wildlife and history.
