The 3-C-U Trout Association has been supporting our local fishing community and cold-water fisheries for 60 years.
Their work has a real impact. This past year alone, 60,000 steelhead were raised and released into Elk Creek. Looking ahead, 3-C-U plans to raise tens of thousands more steelhead and brown trout through their local raceways.
Their efforts help support steelhead and trout fishing throughout Erie County, youth fishing opportunities, local waterways, and programs like ours that use fly fishing to serve Veterans.
One of the easiest ways you can help is by purchasing a 2027 3-C-U Booster Button. Buttons are available for a minimum $5 donation, with the proceeds helping pay for raceway upkeep and food needed to raise the fish.
You can find the buttons at many area outdoor and bait shops, and they are also often available from volunteers around Walnut Creek and Trout Run in Fairview.
Five dollars may not seem like much, but when our fishing community comes together, those $5 buttons help put thousands of fish into our local waters.
