The woods are waking up.�

The gobblers are starting to talk. And another spring turkey season is right around the corner.

If chasing a hard-gobbling longbeard at daybreak is on your list this spring, we’d love to help make it happen.

At Covered Bridge Outfitters & Lodge, our turkey program is built around one simple goal: giving hunters the best possible opportunity at a mature bird. Through year-round habitat work and careful land management, our properties are holding some outstanding longbeards this season.

We’ve been seeing and hearing birds already, and it’s shaping up to be a great spring.

The fish are on the move.

The warming trend is holding firm, water temps are climbing, flows are stabilizing, and we’re starting to see real activity across the system. Bright fish are pushing, holding water is shaping up, and the conditions are finally starting to feel right.

This is one of our favorite windows of the season, when things flip from winter grind to spring momentum. The next couple weeks look promising, and the forecast is lining up in our favor. Guides are ready. Boats are prepped. Flies are tied.
