This weekend was the first race of the year, birthday and our first camping trip with our new pup Jenny! What a weekend. The Grand Vue course was fast, fun and challenging.

Hallie had a good race finishing second to a hard charging and motivated Annabelle. Hallie said she didn't feel great today but overall had a great weekend.

All of the Highlands Team crushed it today! Go HIGHLANDS!

As always we love hanging out with our NICA fam!

HEY! The second annual Woodly's Great Gravel Adventure presented by the is coming up real soon! I rode most of the long course this morning. Most of the course is in great shape after the crazy rain we had this past Sunday. There were a few washed out areas and lots of mud which was being addressed by the DOH and FS.

Trail clearing day here in Elkins. We could use your help.

Are you as stoked as we are about the new trails on D&E's campus? Can you spare some time and sweat this Sunday to help us get them back in shape? Tuesday's storm left our beloved trails looking like a hot mess, but with enough volunteers and tools, we can whip them back into hike, bike, and run-ready shape in no time! Grab your trail shoes, some gloves, loppers, and hand saws if you have them and join us in the trail-saving party so we can all get back to enjoying them ASAP! 🏞️💪

The folks in Lewis and Upshur Countys need your prayers and help. I grew up splitting my time between my parents house in Upshur County and my grandparents farm in Lewis County. Both places are near and dear to me especially my grandma's place. It's a mess after yesterday's devastating floods but so much better than many of the places I saw along RT33 between buckhannon and weston. My dad's church, he's a southern baptist preacher is along that corridor. His church is a total loss! Many of his parishioners are without a roof over there head along with many others. Mandi the kids and I spent the day helping my Uncle clean up my gma's place and we're gonna do the same again tomorrow. The shop will be open tomorrow with limited staff but I'm not sure about Friday and Saturday. Family comes first. Sorry for inconvenience.

Today was the final The Meeks Mountain Howdown! Meeks has amazing trails, a great venue and loads of friendly volunteers.

Today was an exciting day! Henry had a great race, his best of the year. He had a plan for the race and he executed it perfectly! He finished first in his class and 3rd overall in the Cat 3 race at age 9! So proud of my boy! Hallie finished second in her 18 and under cat 2 class today but way more notable is the fact she beat her Mom! We knew this day was coming but we didn't think it would happen so soon! Mandi won her cat 2 vet class today and took the series overall! This was Mandi's first full season of racing in four years. I'm very proud of her and what she accomplished.

This year is the first time in 25+ years that I haven't done a bunch of racing. Still trying to figure how I feel about that. I've really enjoyed racing with Henry but I definitely still have the racing itch. Hopefully I can figure out this thumb and wrist issue I'm having and return to race course someday.

WVMBA season is over now it's time for NICA season!

Unfortunately no race for the Riddles this year. 😕 I'm sick and the shop is crazy! We hate to miss our favorite event of the year but such is life. This is the setup I was gonna use on my beloved Topstone.
