RAYS Swim Team - REGISTRATION IS OPEN NOW!

How to Register:

2. Sign up online for a YMCA membership and pay the program fees on the YMCA's site at www.elkinsymca.com. You can also sign up in person at the YMCA or download the registration form and email a completed copy to [email protected].

3. Sign up on SwimTopia to access team news and register for swim meets. SwimTopia will be our primary method of communication this season. You can access SwimTopia on a desktop or download the app to stay in the know, on the go! For returning swimmers, remember to sign in on SwimTopia before registering for the current season so that your results from past seasons gets tied to your account!

IMPORTANT: There are three opportunities to register for the 2026-2027 season:
- Register for the full season. Practices start September 21st.
- Register for “November Start” by November 1st to start swimming November 2nd.
- Register by December 1st for “last chance” registration to start swimming on December 1st.

Congratulations Otters swimmers on another great season finish!

We are proud to share that the Elkins Otters Swim team showed up strong at Champs!!

Thank you to everyone who had a part in making the 🏆 NCWV Championship event such a good experience for all.

Hi parents! We’re excited to announce a new Bronze/Beginners group for the RAYS Swim Team starting next week! Coach Lauren Cain will lead practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6–6:45 pm.
This group is for swimmers ages 6+ who can swim 25 yards unassisted and are ready to learn the fundamentals of competitive strokes.

The session runs November 4 – December 11 (no practices Thanksgiving week). Register online at elkinsymca.com

And don’t forget—there are two more start dates available for the Silver/Intermediate and Gold/Advanced swim groups: next week and December 1st. After that, registration closes for the season in accordance with YMCA of the USA rules.

Our cap and team t-shirt orders will be submitted on November 1st, so if your swimmer plans to start on December 1st, please make sure to complete registration before that deadline to be included in the order.

Please note that per YMCA of the USA rules, December 1st is the final day to register—no late entries will be accepted.

We’re excited to kick off another great season of RAYS—registration is now open online, and practices begin next week!

To get started, please complete the following:
1) Read the Parent Handbook to familiarize yourself with team policies.
2) Renew/start your YMCA membership (required by YMCA of the USA) and register for the swim team through the YMCA website at https://elkinsymca.com/things-to-do-at-the-y/teams-leagues-at-the-y/the-rays-competitive-swim-team or download a registration form from the website and email it to [email protected] or drop it off at the YMCA (400 Davis Avenue, Elkins).
3) Sign up on https://rays.swimtopia.com to receive team news and communication.

Registration for the full season is open through September 30.
If your child is participating in fall school sports, the next opportunities to join will be:
November 1 start date
December 1 start date (final option)
After December 1, registration will close for the remainder of the season.
