Another example of how a dangerous situation can happen close to home. It is part of the reason why we teach to always be prepared.

We offer CCL classes in Des Arc and central Arkansas.

**4/24/25 Dollar General Incident**

On Thursday, April 24th at approximately 9:49pm Des Arc Police department was dispatched to the Dollar General in reference to a man with a gun. Upon arrival of officers they found a male subject, being held down by store workers who had reportedly brandished an AR style rifle. Officers placed Mason Fincham in custody on scene. Fincham is currently being held at Prairie County Detention Center. This is still an ongoing investigation. Thanks to Prairie County Sheriff’s office for their assistance.

Good first step.

We had the honor of training the Bearden School District teachers and staff on mass shootings. We trained them on mass shooters, how to be situational aware, how to respond to a mass shooting, and how to provide medical aid. A big thank you to Superintendent Rozenberg and the Bearden School Board for hiring us for this critical training.
