El Dorado Christmas Parade

El Dorado, Arkansas has a long standing tradition with the El Dorado Christmas Parade that draws thousands from the surrounding of spectators .

The long-standing tradition of glowing Christmas lights filling the streets in beautiful El Dorado occurs on a Thursday in December with the El Dorado Christmas Parade. The Christmas Parade has been running since 1979! The El Dorado Christmas parade, which is the largest Christmas parade in South Arkansas, annually draws thousands of spectators. This is a great way for the community to enjoy the C

hristmas spirit and it features beauty queens, antique cars, floats and more. The procession will begin at the intersection of 18th Street and North West Avenue. The parade will then proceed along North West Avenue to the downtown area and will end at Jefferson and Peach Streets. Specific parade information will be released in the Fall of each year, including the parade theme. The El Dorado Christmas Parade is organized by the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce.

Tomorrow is the Christmas Parade! Come out and see Scott Innes. The parade will start at 7pm on Northwest and 18th Street and continue down onto Main Street and then onto Jefferson Street.

A friendly reminder that parallel parking will be blocked off on Main Street and Jefferson. This is to help make it easier for the semitrucks to make the turns and to make it easier to view the parade downtown. We will be starting lineup at 4pm, and once this starts traffic will not be allowed on Jefferson starting at 13th street all the way up 18th.
