We had such a fun weekend competing in the 2026 CAC Schools Out For Summer LCM (Long Course Meters) Swim Meet at St. Mary's College! Congratulations to all of our swimmers for conquering their long-course races and earning best times! Our 13+ group included AJ Harmse, Jack da Rosa, Maddy Clagett, Vivienne Phillips, Michael Mogan, Paige Bodle, Emma Parks, and Grimm Simpler.
The 12-and-under squad included Jack Mogan, Finley Allen, Lydia Perkins, Kassidy Seymour, Maddie Disque. Many thanks to Calvert Aquatics Club (CAC) for hosting this great meet!

Coach Higley's retirement celebration was a powerful reminder that coaching is about so much more than the sport—it’s about people, relationships, and lasting impact. Generations of swimmers and families came together, a true testament to the lives shaped, the confidence built, and the community created along the way!

Following the 2026 Team Banquet, we celebrated the retirement and leadership legacy of former Head Coach George Higley, honoring his 35 years of dedication to competitive swimming on the Eastern Shore.

A great time was had by all at the 26-27 TCY Team Banquet! Congratulations to all of our swimmers on a fun, fantastic season.
Shout-out to the Sauter, Palmer, and Allen families for making the celebration magic happen! Many thanks to our coaches for their leadership, guidance, and support throughout the season. Special thanks and lots of TCY love to Coach Jordan, as she leaves us to begin a new chapter in a new state!

Cameron Mielke is closing out the 25-26 season as the first swimmer in team history to represent TCY at the USA Swimming Eastern Zone Sectionals! She qualified for finals and finished in the top 20 in the 50 freestyle today (Saturday, 3/28/26)! We wish her continued success as she "finishes strong" in her events on Sunday!

Many things are special about YMCA Swimming, but the relationships among the coaches and swimmers around the pool deck top the list. We are rivals for sure, but it's more than competition, it's a shared passion! This year, swimmers from TCY and HAGY uniquely celebrated their assistant coaches and made some fun memories at the same time!
