Today, I was stopped by Toms River Police for speeding on my bike. I explained that I’m concealing a firearm on my waist and showed them my permit. They said don’t touch it and I won’t touch mine. I got no ticket and we went about our way.

There’s a misconception when it comes to getting a concealed carry permit. Yes you can get it in New Jersey! I received mine and it took as long as a pistol permit. It’s a very easy and simple process.

Instructor Dan served as a Military Police officer and was also a Marine Corps Marksmanship Coach. Upon leaving the Marine Corps he was a NYC Police Officer briefly before being hired by the second largest police department in New Jersey where he served as a Police academy fi****ms Instructor. Dan was trained by the FBI as a Pistol, Shotgun, Tactical Rifle, and Submachine Instructor. He's also Instructor certified in NY and NJ. Upon retirement from Police Service Dan took additional training and is a NRA certified Pistol, Shotgun and Personal protection inside the home Instructor. Dan also holds the certification as NRA Chief Range Safety Officer.

We are now offering UPDATED 4 hour CCW classes. You will be taught concealed carry by individuals who carried concealed fi****ms for over 25 years. You will be given Use of Force. You will be taught concealed carry techniques, drawing from a holster and re-holstering. You will also be shown how to load during live fire exercises. You will also be given the HQC2 (50 round) qualification course for day fire. We will be teaching everything that is required by the State. Everything taught
is a necessity for anyone who is going to carry a concealed firearm.
• Demonstrate the safe handling of weapon.
• Demonstrate proper loading and unloading techniques.
• Demonstrate the techniques of a proper concealed carry draw. • Demonstrate the techniques of good marksmanship. 10 rounds @ 15 yards,
10 rounds @ 10 yards, 10 rounds @ 7 yards, 10 rounds @5 yards, 10 rounds@
3 yards.
YOU WILL NEED:
• *Modern semi-automatic handgun or revolver (no 22's)
• *3 magazines minimum, speed strips or speed loaders for revolvers.
• *magazine pouch (suggested but not mandatory)
• *100 rounds of factory ammo in the original box • *Holster, IWB or outside the waistband is acceptable. Leather, kydex etc NO Serpa or push button holsters (please make sure your pistol fits in the
holster)
• *quality belt
• *Eye Pro
• *Ear Pro (amplified mandatory)
• *FID Card
• We will be holding classes from 530: pm -9:00 pm September 10, 2024
