It is as REAL as it gets! Meets all USN mil specs from the outside surface. This is a NON-DIVING MK-V (13 LBS) and it is just for show. Helmet and Breast Plate are 1/4“ thick plastic. All pieces are hand molded, poured and finished by the artist. Each MK-V is hand painted, signed, dated, and numbered, with no two looking alike. Do not move any of these pieces, it will scratch and chip the paint. The Helmet does not screw onto the Breast Plate. The Helmet is simply placed on top of the Breast Plate. Each MK-V takes about 4-5 weeks to complete. Color: Patine, Tinning/Gray (new look / out of the box), and used newer hat look.

Mission Complete. 25-3/8” OD, 19-3/5” ID, 2-1/2” deep, 1/2” base, blue felt, backing/wall hanging materials and len, only at 7.5 Pounds! Cost: $800.00. All components are poured from a PVC type material. Components are molded, poured, grinned, patched, filled, sanded, painted and assembled my me.

A real porthole this size would easily weigh more than 100 pounds and cost over $2,000.00, if you could ever find one.

First casting is completed. The base portion of the porthole is 25-3/8” OD x 19-3/8” ID. Top section is in the paint booth drying. Waiting for the lens to arrive.

Someone asked for an unpainted hat and unassembled stand. So here I go… a lot to talk about. I will keep it short and sweet. If this is the route you want to go. Listen up and take a good video before you disassemble. This process will be ready in a month or so.
