Our build is back at the shop and underway! It's a real stunner in person!

We completed the UJoint 4x4 conversion and painted the cab a few months back, and now have the finished box back from Foundation Vehicles | Built to be Upfit!

This is a bobbed chassis on the 158 wheelbase - So a 12.5' box with minimal rear overhang and an overall length similar to a 148 wb transit.

Full rear doors, storage boxes and side entry door from Foundation. We'll be rolling on the interior, windows, swing aways, exterior racking and exterior goodies in the next couple months. So follow along or reach out to come this thing out while it's underway! We'll be offering custom and semi-custom layouts and build options on these composite body campers on all e series, sprinter and transit platforms, send us a line if you're interested in a custom composite body camper build!

It must be truck camper season in the VanLab service bay!

Lots of truck campers rolling through in the last few weeks for a variety of builds and services. Whether it's for a full build out, or just some pieces, parts or upgrades - we've got you covered.

Build #1 - Taco with a chubby OVRLND Camper Company . This truck got a full build out including Dometic go sink, storage benches, a bluetti electrical system and rooftop solar. Now that it's built out, we'll get a weight for it and get some suspension parts for it's next round of upgrades.

Build #2 - Chevy 2500 with a standard OVRLND Camper Company. Basic build with benches, sink/stovetop and some bonus storage. This customer chose to hookup all their own plumbing and set up their electrical - allowing us to focus on cabinetry and an awning install.

Build #3 - Ford Ranger with a skinny Tune Outdoor camper. This build is minimal but with a dialed in custom electrical system featuring Expion360, Inc. and REDARC Electronics. Also sporting some Kingpin lighting!

The latest full build to hit the road, just in time for a summer of exploring and adventure!

This custom build is dialed in for a family of 4. Platform bed in back, SCA Pop-Top Roofs (North America) pop top and Broad Arrow seating allow for this seat 4, sleep 4 configuration. A simple build with all our usual amenities, plus a few upgrades - Induction cooktop, 24 gallon fresh water system with rear spray port, espar air heater, electric water heater, van compass lift kit and upgraded tires, dimmable lighting throughout, Dometic 12v AC, 400 watts of solar, dedicated alternator charging and a big boy 48v electrical system! The VanEssential upper cabinets allow for some flexible storage and built in L-track allows for more additions down the road!

This van also sports V2 of our custom roof rack for the Transit van - compatible with the SCA pop top roof! A sweet upgrade that allows for the awning mount, additional storage, and really trims the roof lines out nicely.

A sweet van for a sweet client! We love building adventure rigs for amazing clients.

This 148 Transit medium roof sports our dinette layout with divider wall, storage benches, upper cabinets, full sized galley, queen bed and outdoor shower.

The system provides on demand heat and hot water, and is backed up by the and electrical system. Each of our vans is fully off-grid capable with a robust electrical system charging both from the engine and solar systems, providing a truly off-grid adventure machine.

This came in with an odds and ends punch list. A few wheel rubs, flapping plastics from "rough" cut to fit the front bumper and a super rattle coming from the spare tire swing away.

We buttoned things up on the front end and tightened things up, installed a 3rd row seat delete kit from and fabbed up a spare tire mount then installed a pelican case for some extra storage and fold out table on the swing away.

A couple quickies this week in the service bay!

This came in for a 4.3 kit complete with adjustable Rally struts, opti-rate leaf springs and a Rocky Mounts after party bike rack. It's aligned and the ride is a serious upgrade over stock.

Then, this Tacoma with camper came in for a Velit heater installation and small wheel well enclosure. We dropped the fuel tank and installed the standpipe so this unit is a no fuss unit. Just hit the button and get toasty. No secondary tanks or ducting required!

The last build of 2025, rolling out just in time for the holidays! What better Christmas present than to pick up your new rig! Huge thanks to our team for making it happen!

This is an awesome build. All the usual stuff from us - 130 qt fridge, on demand hot water and air heat from Timberline, lithionics and victron electrical system, suspension kit, bamboo cabinetry up front with hex ply rears - plus a host of other goodies!
