Welcome back, Ava! 🥊🔥

Our summer college student is back in the gym, and she’s bringing that Muay Thai fire with her. Ava is tough, focused, and always willing to push herself — and the best part is, she’s just getting started.

At SOMD Knockout Zone, we’re grateful to be part of so many different journeys. Different ages, different fitness levels, different goals — but the same energy, support, and drive every time someone walks through our doors.

Big shoutout to this crew from Calvert Aquatics Swim Club for putting in some off-season work at SOMD Knockout Zone! 🥊💪

These teen athletes joined through our monthly teen and summer memberships and have been bringing nothing but positivity, energy, and effort to class. They show up ready to work, support each other, and add a great vibe to the gym every time they walk through the door.

Boxing is an awesome way to build conditioning, footwork, coordination, power, and mental toughness — all skills that transfer right back into the pool.

We love seeing young athletes step outside their normal training environment and push themselves in new ways. Great work, guys — keep showing up and bringing that energy! 🔥

Huge shoutout to Brooke for hitting her 200th class at SOMD Knockout Zone! 🥊🔥

Brooke is one of our OGs and has been bringing the power, energy, and fight to every class since day one. She even brings her hubby in occasionally just to remind him who’s boss. 😆

And let’s not forget — Brooke is our reigning Women’s Fight Night Champion. 👑

☀️ Swinging Into Summer Challenge 🏖️

This June, we’re challenging our members to complete 1,000 kettlebell swings by June 30.

Track your daily swings, record your kettlebell weight, and keep your running total all month long. The goal is simple: stay consistent, build strength, and finish June stronger than you started.

Suggested pace: about 34 swings per day.

Grab a tracker at the gym, start logging your swings, and let’s swing into summer together.

☀️ SUMMER CAMP SIGN-UP IS HERE!

We are running ONE WEEK of KidFit summer camp for rising elementary school ages kids this year but we’ve extended the day a little bit longer.

🧒🏽 Ages 5-10 (rising elementary school)

🗓️ July 20 - 24

⏰ 9AM - 4PM

💰 Cost: $375*
Cost includes two snacks daily, pizza day Friday, camp shirt, and all activities/supplies. Campers are responsible for their own lunch each day.

💪🏼 🏃🏻‍♀️ 🧘🏻 🎨 ⚽️ Each day will vary but include fitness activities, workouts, games, gymnastics skills & drills, yoga, arts & crafts, and more! We will also be outside some portion of each day.

Prior to June 15th, cancellations are eligible for account credit, minus a $75 non-refundable fee.
