Cascade Bass Masters

Cascade Bass Masters Bass fishing club Cascade Bassmasters was formed in 2002 by a few friends who enjoyed bass fishing.

It all got started sitting around my living room discussing bass fishing and tournaments. We decided to start a new club, the hardest thing was coming up with a name. We decided on the name of Cascade Bassmasters due to the beautiful mountain range we all have the privilege of living near in Oregon. We decided from the onset that we would try to teach and learn from each other the art of bass fishing.

Cascade Bass Masters put on another fun one out at Celilo Park on the Columbia River this past weekend. Big thanks to everyone who made the drive and spent the day with us on the water.

1st place: Brennan Osborn & Sydney with a hefty 16.71 lbs, also locking down big fish honors with a 4.14 lb kicker.

2nd place: Tom Hartshorn & Dave Osborn bringing 14.69 lbs to the scales, anchored by a 3.51 lb fish.

3rd place: Evan & Colton Crawford with 13.94 lbs in the bag.

Shoutout as well to the rest of the field for grinding it out on a tough Columbia River bite and putting fish in the boat. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the next Cascade Bass Masters event!

Our next Cascade Bass Masters club tournament at Celilo Park Boat Ramp is coming up this Saturday, June 13th on the Columbia River. We’re looking forward to a great day on the water with everyone and a strong turnout from the club.

As of now, the weather forecast is looking favorable, with no concerning wind in the current outlook, but we are actively monitoring conditions leading up to blast off. If anything changes that could impact safety, we’ll communicate updates promptly on this page and via our usual channels.

Plan on an early start, double-check your gear and livewells, and make sure you’re there in time for check-in and the pre-tournament meeting. See you all at Celilo on Saturday!

Cascade Bass Masters Update – Port of Cascade Locks 🛑

Due to unsafe high-wind conditions, we are cancelling the May 23rd Port of Cascade Locks club tournament. The safety of our anglers and volunteers is always our top priority, and conditions are outside what we consider acceptable for a fair and safe event.

We are actively working to reschedule this tournament for a later date and will share the new date and details as soon as they are confirmed.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and flexibility. Thank you for your continued support of Cascade Bass Masters.
