Last Saturday race before State Finals weekend! Come pick up your lapathon packets as well. Lapathon is the week after State finals and we have all the cool prizes lined up again! You know those folks at registration that give us a nod without paying? That's our lapathon season pass crew. We've been getting questions lately about Gold Cup Finals and State Finals and we just want to clarify - any rider with an active USA BMX license can participate in any race you see on the calendar. For multi day events like Nationals or Gold Cup, you can only do one day if you like. Each day is a separate event.

These events are a ton of fun and a much different feel than your local single point race so we always recommend riders try to experience them! They have the same race categories as your local races so your novice and intermediate riders and I'll not be lining up against top expert racers.

So get ready for Gold Cup finals next weekend and State Finals a week later! We hope to see you on race day!

A few people have asked about the state finals schedule so here it is! We adjusted the start time at finals to let the folks from Klamath, Rogue and Grants Pass to get home at a better hour.

We will have tent spots posted in a few weeks. You will have a heads up before posting.

Allow me to introduce the latest addition to the CV loaner fleet. The aptly named "Unicorn Barf."

There are bikes you see and immediately have to have. Carbon and titanium sprinkled throughout. Smooth as butter bearings that roll forever. Fancy words like "Onyx" stamped on parts.

This is not that bike.

Other bikes are must haves because of their pure ridiculousness. Penny farthings fall into this category. So too, does Unicorn Barf. It was designed by clowns on a sugar high and inspired by My Little Pony, a bag of skittles and neon spray paint.

What are we going to do with this monstrosity? Fat boy relays of course but does it matter? One has to only look at the Unicorn Barf and bask in it's glory.

So this weekend bring your Fat boys and see if you can take down the currently undefeated (an winless) Vomitus Unicornus. There will be a herd of little people on even littler bikes ripping around the track. Winner gets high fives, bragging rights and a few track bucks.

Also, we have bike races for regular sized bikes on Saturday and gate practice tonight....but who cares about all that when there are fat boys?
