The regular DYC Wednesday night social on 9/2/26 will be a fundraiser for Jack Lushbough, a local youth sailor battling chronic illness. Come on down to the 13th St S tent site after the race, or earlier if not racing. Food will be served. See Facebook event for more info.

A traffic jam yesterday evening as the Wednesday night regatta sailboats came back into the harbor, P/V Vista Queen headed out, and the M/V Indiana Harbor was closing in, headed for CN Dock 6 to load ore. Duluth, MN - August 19, 2026

Today kicks off the celebration of National Lighthouse Day in the Twin Ports! Our visitor center staff will be leading at least 2 free outdoor walking history tours (11am and 1pm). Inside the visitor center, we will have family-friendly craft activities, lighthouse-themed documentaries and more! Come down to the Canal and join us!

Owners of both the north and south pier lighthouses, Rethos and LSMMA, will be present to talk about restoration efforts and briefly allow visitors to see inside each building.
