Healthy fats can absolutely have a place in a balanced diet.

The goal isn’t to avoid fat altogether. It’s to understand where it comes from, how much you’re eating, and how it fits with the rest of your meals.

Small choices like adding nuts to a snack, using olive oil in a meal, or choosing salmon for dinner can make nutrition feel a lot more practical and sustainable.

Want help building habits that support your goals without overcomplicating food?

Somewhere between the warm up and the workout, you stop thinking about your day and start thinking about the next rep. That switch happens quietly, but it happens almost every time.

That's part of why people keep coming back. Not just the results, the hour where everything else gets to sit down for a while and the only thing that matters is what's right in front of you.

Come find that hour for yourself.

A warm-up isn’t just about getting sweaty. It should prepare your body for the specific work you’re about to do.

A simple way to think about it:

1. Raise your temperature

Start with a few minutes of easy movement to get blood flowing.

2. Prepare the joints and muscles you’ll actually use

Squatting today? Your hips, knees, and ankles should get some attention.

Pressing? Prepare your shoulders and upper back.

3. Rehearse the movement

Before adding meaningful load, practice the pattern with lighter resistance.

4. Build toward your working intensity

Your last few warm-up sets should gradually feel more like the workout ahead without tiring you out before it starts.

A good warm-up should leave you feeling more prepared, not more exhausted.

Save this for your next training session.

Not every moment in coaching needs words. Sometimes the most valuable thing a coach can do is watch closely enough to know exactly when to step in, and when to let the rep happen on its own.

That's harder than it sounds. Anyone can talk through a workout from start to finish. It takes real attention to read what's actually happening, and trust the person enough to let them work through it themselves.

That kind of coaching changes how people train. Not louder. Sharper.

You're not skipping an hour. You're skipping the version of you that shows up after it.

The one who's calmer than when they walked in. Slept better that night. Stood up a little straighter without noticing they were doing it. That person's on the other side of the workout you keep putting off, and every time you skip it, you skip them too.

It's never really about the hour. It's about who you are once it's done.

Stop skipping that version of you. Book your free intro by clicking the LINK IN BIO!

Look around this room and you'll see three or four different stages of the same effort. Someone still figuring out the movement. Someone who's done it a thousand times and still takes it seriously. Nobody matching anybody else's pace, and nobody's expected to.

That's easy to miss walking past a gym from the outside. It looks like everyone's just working out. Look closer and you'll see people at completely different points in their own process, showing up for the same hour, putting in whatever version of effort they've got that day.

Nobody's rushing anybody to catch up. Nobody's comparing where they are to where someone else is.

The only thing that actually matters is that they showed up and did the work in front of them.

That's the part that gets lost when people picture a gym. It's not one pace. It's a room full of people at completely different pages, all still writing the same story.

There's no faking a sled pull.

You can talk yourself up before a lift, ease into a set, find a way to make something look harder than it is.

The sled doesn't allow any of that. It just sits there, loaded, waiting to tell you the truth the second you grab the straps.

Legs bent, grip locked in, and that first pull always asks the same question. Do you actually have it today, or were you hoping nobody would notice if you didn't.

Some days it moves lighter than expected. You surprise yourself. Other days, every foot of turf feels like a negotiation, and you get through it anyway, one step at a time, because stopping halfway isn't really an option once you've started.

That's what this movement teaches you, whether you're ready for the lesson or not. Strength isn't about how you look doing it. It's about what you do when there's nowhere left to hide.

Most people psych themselves out before they even start. They picture race day HYROX in their head and figure they’re not ready for it.

Here’s the truth. Week one isn’t race day. It’s learning the stations, scaled to you, coached through every rep. Week two, a little more weight. Week three, you’re moving through combinations just like the real thing. By week four, you’re not thinking about it anymore, you’re just doing it.

Nobody starts at race pace. Everybody starts at week one.

If you’ve been putting off HYROX because you don’t feel ready, that’s exactly who week one is built for.

Most people blame a rough workout on sleep, stress, or lack of motivation. Sometimes it's simpler than that. It's water.

Even mild dehydration, around 2% of your bodyweight in fluid loss, can measurably reduce strength, endurance, and focus. That's before you even step foot in the gym.

A simple target, half your bodyweight in ounces daily, more on the days you train. Not complicated, just consistent.

Training gets you halfway there. What you drink gets you the rest of the way.

Before Coach Travis runs a single rep with you, he's already locked in. Hands together, one quiet beat, mind cleared of everything except the hour ahead.

Because here's what separates good coaching from great coaching. It was never just about knowing the movements. Anyone can learn a squat cue or a proper hip hinge. What's harder to find is a coach who shows up fully, every single time, for every single person in the room, whether it's your first session or your five hundredth.

That's the standard Travis holds himself to before he ever says a word to the group. Full attention. No half showing up. Every member gets the same version of him, focused and ready.

That's what real coaching looks like. That's Coach Travis. That's Legacy.
