Inspiring Elation Through Dance For Over 15 Years. Ballet, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Jazz & Tap In addition, we strive to share the joy of this amazing art form.

Elation Dance Center offers quality dance instruction for children and adults. We believe in teaching children proper placement at a young age to prevent injury and instill proper technique. While ballet is the core to dance training, we offer outstanding contemporary classes in jazz, tap, contemporary and hip-hop. Elation encourages our students to become well-rounded dancers by exploring many styles of dance. Our goal is to create well-rounded dancers and individuals for any given path in their futures. Our philosophy encompasses what we call the three C's - Concert, Competition & Community. Elation's direction is unique and allows our dancers to enjoy all aspects of the art of dance. Elation's performance company performs locally at venues such as Summerfest, State Fair and the MIlwaukee Bucks. They have also performed internationally in London as well as Disneyland Paris.

A place to belong.
A place to become.
A world to explore. ✨

At Elation, dancers do more than learn steps. They build confidence, discover their artistry, form lasting friendships and grow through experiences both inside and outside the studio.

Whether your dancer is stepping into their very first class or looking for a place to continue growing, there’s a place for them here.

Registration is open, and classes begin September 21!

When I told people I was taking 19 dancers to Portugal, these were the responses I heard most often:

✨ “Wow, that’s brave.”
✨ “Are they competing?”
✨ “What made you decide to do that?”

Brave? Yes. But I’ve experienced the value of dance travel both as a dancer and now as a studio director. Travel stretches you. It challenges you, builds confidence, deepens friendships, and gives you a broader perspective. When you get to experience that through the art form you love, it becomes even more meaningful.

And no—we weren’t competing. We were performing.

Dance was never meant to exist only as a competition. It was meant to be shared, celebrated, and experienced. Sure, we could have spent this week at nationals. Instead, we were dancing at Oeiras Marina in Portugal alongside dancers from around the world, connected by a shared love for this art form.

So…why?

Because growth happens when we step outside of what’s familiar. When we push the edges of our comfort zone. And at Elation, growth has always been the goal.

I couldn’t be more proud of these 19 dancers. I’m still overwhelmed with gratitude—for each of you, every unforgettable moment (the challenging ones included), and every family who believed in this dream and made it possible.

A heartfelt thank you to PAE for creating such an incredible experience. It was truly a joy, and one we’ll never forget. 🩵🇵🇹
