MPK Families!
I hope you are all enjoying your summer! It is hard to believe it, but the Fourth of July is upon us! Unbelievably it is our 30 YEAR ANNIVERSARY THIS YEAR! MPK has been in 28 parades out of the last 30 years! It is one of our most exciting days out of the whole year. We will be working on our parade routine in class tonight Monday July 1st. Tomorrow Tuesday we will hold our normal Sparring Classes at 5 pm and 6 pm. Wednesday we will be closed for the activities at the park and Fireworks! Thursday is the 4th!
Monday - Regular classes Tuesday - regular classes Wednesday - Closed Thursday - PARADE. Arrive at 9:30. Start time 10am at the Deforest area High School. We are spot number 41 in the parade and will be gathering our students beginning at 9:30 at the Deforest High School parking lot. We are so excited to have an awesome turnout of MPK Students and family members joining us this year!We will have a goody bag for all our marchers. We will finish our route on the lawn at Christ Lutheran Church on Main Street. Parents please plan to meet your child there if you are not walking with them in the parade.
What to bring-
Water bottle
Karate T-shirt
Karate pants
Karate Belt
Shoes that don't fly off!
Hat and Sunscreen
Parents that are joining us please bring a wagon if you have one as it is a great spot for water bottles in between our routines.

Sign up at the front desk so we know how many goody bags to make up! We hope to have one of our biggest groups ever!

Please consider making donation to this worthy cause. Last year our MPK Families raised $14,000 with our KICK A THon event.
All participants are challenged to find 10 people and ask them to donate $10. On the night of the event all participants will break a board in support of kicking cancer and Luekemia Lymphoma to the curb.
