-The Village has the September 2025 – May 2026 season open for registration, the season will be from 9/10/25 – 5/13/26.
-When signing up for the 2025-2026 season, please remember that this is a new season so the $15 must be paid. When it asks if you have attended this season already, please select no as this is a new season, that will prompt the $15 payment. After that original payment is done you can then select yes that you have attended the season, and you can then sign up for any addition weeks at no charge.
-Non-Residents, if you go to add more dates later it will look to charge you the $5 fee. If you want to add more classes later and are a non-resident, please let the Village know and they can bypass the fee for you since you would have already paid it when you sign up the first time.

Important: Sign-Up is now Open (Required):
Please use the link below to sign up for Deforest Open Gym volleyball through Village of Deforest at the middle school (Wednesday nights) that starts on Wed, 09/11. (A player does NOT need to be a resident of Deforest to sign up.) A player must be signed up in order to play (or sign up asap after). Sign up as soon as possible to reserve your spot.
There is a once-per-season fee of $15 (and an additional $5 fee for non-residents). This will cover all the weeks from 09/11-04/30 or any subset of those weeks that you attend.
You will have to create an account on the Village of Deforest registration website if you do not have one yet.
When it asks ‘is this your first time attending this season (2024-2025)’, I believe you need to click on “Yes”.
I believe there are 29 possible Wednesdays of play.

In summary:
-Follow the link and create an account.
Click on: Civic Rec Registration
Then click on the following:
Adult & Teen Programming tab (upper right)
Adult Open Gym - Volleyball row (toward the bottom)
Volleyball Adult Open Gym (September 2024 - April 2025 Season)

-Sign up for the Wednesdays you want to play. Say “Yes” to the ‘first time attending’ question.
-Pay the $15 once-per-season fee (plus $5 for non-residents). (Ensure the website is charging you the fee. If it is not, we have to do a lot of follow-up with you and the Village to get it paid.)
-If you sign up for a certain Wednesday, but then cannot attend, please email the Village of Deforest Recreation Department at either of the emails below as soon as you know to remove your reservation so others can sign-up if it is close to capacity. (Users cannot modify our sign-up ourselves by logging back into our account. Users need to email them to cancel our attendance for a night.)

Some Summer 2024 DAMS volleyball sessions have been added (7/10, 7/24, 8/14, 8/28). Check your email if you are on the Deforest Park & Rec email list for volleyball, or go to the Deforest Park & Rec website to find the signup. I believe they need a few more for this week, so sign up as soon as possible so they know that they have enough. :)

01/31/24: 32 players are signed up for tonight. Did anyone sign up and can't make it afterall, but didn't tell the Rec Dept? Just trying to keep the count as up to date as possible. :) Thank you!

As an FYI, for tonight (1/24/24), the player count is currently down to 29, so that is better than the 32 that the email originally said on Monday.

If you want to sign up for any nights that are listed as full, please, please put your name on the Wait List. I am guessing that attendance could vary as player's schedules change, and the Village will contact you if an opening occurs. Thanks! We are looking forward to the season!
