Crested Butte Nordic The Nordic Ski Capital of Colorado We offer complete ski and snowshoe rental packages as well as private lessons, clinics, tours and the Yurt Dinner Experience.

Crested Butte Nordic is a non profit Nordic ski area that maintains 50 kilometers of immaculately groomed trails around the Town of Crested Butte. Our Nordic Center and trail-heads are within walking distance from all of Crested Butte’s restaurants and lodgings. 8 days to go until the Summer Grand Traverse!

This quiet soccer field in downtown Crested Butte is going to be center stage for the Run start and the Bike finish. Come join the party if you're in town. Vibes will be high!

Irwin Brewing Company will be there with their b**r truck, evileye.eyewear will be showing off their stylish shades, and of course the racers will be bringing the heat!

We're looking for a few more volunteers to Course Marshal in town on Sunday for the bike finish. To sign up look for the Volunteer link on the GT race pages. Let your non-racing friends know!

Coach Jenny Smith is leading our Fall Masters Dryland Training! September 1-October 27, 2026. 9 total sessions at an hour a piece for $135. Tuesdays at Noon.

Join her this fall for accountability, curiosity, fun times, and progress ahead of what we hope will be an amazing season on two skis.

Jenny Smith is an elite multisport athlete and endurance sports coach who has called Gunnison Valley home since 1999.

She brings extensive experience to dryland training as a cycling, triathlon, and multisport coach, along with Personal training and strength coaching certifications.

Jenny has helped lead and coach dryland training for Gunnison Nordic throughout the past decade, along with junior Nordic coaching at CB Nordic and Gunnison Nordic.

As a fellow master athlete, she knows how valuable and fun group ski conditioning is.
