🚨 HANG FIRE: DON’T PANIC. KNOW WHAT TO DO. 🚨

A hang fire is a delayed ignition. You pull the trigger… hear a click… but the round may still fire seconds later.

❌ DON’T:
• Immediately rack the slide.
• Point the fi***rm in an unsafe direction.
• Look down the barrel.
• Keep pulling the trigger.
• Assume it’s a misfire and rush to clear it.

✅ DO:
✔️ Keep the fi***rm pointed in a safe direction.
✔️ Keep your finger off the trigger.
✔️ Wait at least 30 seconds (or follow your range’s procedures).
✔️ After waiting, safely unload the fi***rm while keeping the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.
✔️ Inspect the fi***rm and am******on before continuing.

Remember:
CLICK → WAIT → UNLOAD → INSPECT

Knowledge and patience can prevent a serious injury. Every shooter should know the difference between a misfire, a hang fire, and a squib load.
