Like many of you, we are excited about the recent federal court ruling. However, there are some important details to take note of.

-NC State law still requires compliance with federal law, meaning a Form 4 (application for the tax stamp) is still required to transfer/possess any NFA items. This could change in the future.

-SBRs and SBS’s are still regulated by the Gun Control Act of 1968 and cannot be transferred without prior Attorney General approval. The only way approval has been given in the past is via a Form 4.

All of this is subject to change in the near future, so standby for more information. Silencer Shop is also a great resource for information.
