Round twenty-eight 👀

And we're making this one easy, consider it a warmup for November.

You always know when this guy arrives. He doesn't slip in. He doesn't quietly set his stuff down in the corner. He walks through that door and announces himself, and the whole room knows the energy just changed.

5 AM? Announced. Middle of the afternoon? Announced. There is no hour of the day where he arrives quietly, and at this point we'd be worried if he did.

Look at the face in that drawing though. Guard up, locked in, absolutely zero joking around (or maybe all of it is a joke lol). That's the other half of him — loud coming through the door, all business once the round starts.

Who is it? Drop your guess in the comments. Know him? Tag him, though honestly he's probably already announced it himself. 📣

Round twenty-seven. And some of you got this one instantly.

She's a mainstay. Has been for a long time. And she is the absolute epitome of the silent ninja — in, work done, gone, and half the room didn't realize she was ever there.

No complaining. No fuss. No announcement that she showed up. She just gets it in and leaves, which honestly might be the most impressive kind of consistency there is. The loud ones are easy to spot. The ones like her are the actual backbone.

The giveaway, if you need one: say three words to her and you'll know. That accent is undefeated. 🎤

Who is it? Drop your guess in the comments. Know her? Tag her — she'll be mildly horrified we made a whole post about her, which is exactly why we did it.

Round twenty-six. 👀

Look at that grin. That's not a friendly grin. That's the grin of a man who just thought of something and you're not going to enjoy it.

Every gym needs one of these. The guy who takes the word "extreme" personally. Who does the hard version when the regular version was fine. Who looks over at you mid-set and somehow makes you go heavier than you planned to.

He's not doing it to show off. He's doing it because he genuinely doesn't know another speed — and the side effect is that everybody near him gets better. You work harder on a day he's in your class and you don't even decide to.

Half this room is stronger because of him. The other half is just tired.

Who is it? Drop your guess in the comments. Know him? Tag him and let him know his reputation has preceded him.

Flip the script on this one. 🔄

Exercise isn't punishment for what you ate. It isn't a penalty you pay for the weekend. It isn't something you owe anybody.

It's a celebration of what your body can actually do.

Your body can throw a kick like that. It can get through a round it couldn't get through last month. It can carry you up the stairs without thinking about it, pick up your kid, keep going when you ask it to.

That's remarkable. Every single time.

So tonight, when the round gets long and your legs are burning — try shifting the thought from "I have to do this" to "look what I get to do." 🙌

Same workout. Completely different experience.

Round twenty-five. 👀

If you've ever walked into this place as a visitor and left thinking "well, that was easier than I expected" — there's a decent chance it was because of her.

She's the one who notices the new person standing near the door not sure where to put their stuff. She's the one who says something first. She'll know your name before you've figured out hers, and she'll ask about you the next time like she's been thinking about it.

Nicest person we know. And not the performative kind — the kind that just quietly puts other people first, every single time, without anybody asking.

She's in that photo doing the work like everybody else. But a lot of what she does here doesn't show up in a workout.

Who is it? Drop your guess in the comments. And if you know her, tag her and tell her what she did for you on your first day. We'd bet money she doesn't remember doing it.

Round twenty-four. 👀

This one's different.

When somebody walks in here and says "I don't think I can do this" — and people say it a lot, usually in the parking lot before they ever get to the door — we don't argue with them.

We just point at this guy.

Because he can. He does. 3+ days a week, round kick after round kick, no excuses offered and none needed.

He's the bar. Not because he's the fastest or the strongest in the room, but because he keeps showing up and doing the thing other people talk themselves out of. There are members in that building who have no idea they're still coming because of him.

So if you've been telling yourself you can't — he's already answered that for you.

Who is it? Drop your guess in the comments. And if you know him, tag him. He probably has no idea how many people he's carried.

Round twenty-three. And this one might actually stump you.

Not because you don't know her — you do. You've stood next to her. She's probably asked about your week, and meant it.

She's just quiet about it. Doesn't take up space, doesn't need the room looking at her. She just shows up, does the work, and keeps an eye on everybody else while she's at it.

So if the name doesn't come right away, don't feel bad. Some of the people who hold a place together are the ones doing it without saying much.

When you see the reveal, you'll go "oh — of course."

Remember week one? 👀

The first class felt impossible. The combos didn't make sense. Your arms gave out before the round did. You wondered what you'd signed up for.

Now look at you.

Somewhere in the last few weeks, the impossible quietly became normal. The combos landed. The rounds got finishable. The soreness turned into something you almost miss on off days.

That's the thing about hard stuff — it never looks doable from the front end. It only looks doable from the other side of it. And you're on the other side of something you weren't sure about a month ago.

Whatever still feels impossible right now? Same rule applies. Keep going. 💪

Round twenty-two. And we're not even going to pretend this is hard. 😂

Some people walk in and the whole room's mood goes up a notch. That's this guy. Hasn't thrown a punch yet and he's already laughing about something.

Mid-set, bands loaded, legs out — and still having the time of his life. We genuinely don't know how he does it.

You could blur the whole thing and people would still get it in three seconds. That's not a flaw in the game. That's just what happens when somebody's that much a part of the place.

Who is it? Go ahead. Tag him and tell him he's impossible to disguise.
