So we hear there are some nasty rumors out there that the club has been closed down. I’m here to say that those are 100% false!! 

I will let a tiny bit of the cat out of the bag though and say that the board has been in the process of changing everything over to our new name since this season started, so be on the lookout for that announcement hopefully soon! But we’re on the states timeline, and we all know how slow that is!

If you have any questions, please come out and shoot with us and ask away!! See everyone next week and wish our West Prairie Trap Team luck as they start their season next week as well!!

Congratulations to the West Prairie Trap Team on an incredible season and an outstanding performance at Nationals!

Our team had a fantastic experience at the USA Clay Target League National Tournament in Mason, Michigan this week! Represented by Maya Hofmeister, Aiden Percy, Cody Peters, Ethan Sartorius, Jack Zimmerman, Charlie Zimmerman, and Cameron Peters, the kids outperformed their regular-season averages and both scored and placed higher than their previous national tournament showing. Full details of the week are below, but a special shout-out goes to the families for making the commitment to participate and to Coach Peters and Coach McCullough for traveling with the team.

Team Qualifier Results: placed 131/234 teams
Maya Hofmeister: 24-25-24-25, final score: 98/100
Aiden Percy: 24-21-22-19, final score: 86/100
Ethan Sartorius: 24-25-23-23, final score: 95/100
Cody Peters: 21-21-24-20, final score: 86/100
Jack Zimmerman: 24-22-20-19, final score: 85/100

Individual Qualifier Results:
Maya Hofmeister: final score 93/100, 45th out of 259 females
Cody Peters: final score 92/100, 682nd out of 1495 males
Charlie Zimmerman: final score 90/100, 877th out of 1495 males
Aiden Percy: final score 88/100, 1064th out of 1495 males
Jack Zimmerman: final score 84/100, 1288th out of 1495 males

Way to go representing West Prairie on the national stage against 234 other teams and 1,754 individual competitors! We are so proud of you!
