WIGA make up information...
Since mother nature wouldn't allow us to get the Week 18 event at Gold Hills Golf Club completed, we have been working with Danny to figure out how we can complete this event. What we are going to do is play a continuation of the event the week after the championship, Sep. 10th thru 13th. with the exception of the 12th as they do have a big event that will close the course on that day and WIGA will not be able to be played on that date. So open dates will be the 10th, 11th, & 13th.
If you have already played your round on Thursday or Friday (Aug. 13-14th) your round will be counted in the field with the others that play in Sept. as if there was no delay. Additionally, Danny has graciously agreed to allow players that already played in the Week 18 event in August, to play again if they so choose to at a reduced rate from the standard $38 WIGA fee. If you do not replay in Sept., your score will be entered from your original round for this event. Those that wish to replay only have to pay the $14 cart rental fee. We have all of the cards and will know who played previously so please don't try to get the reduced rate if you didn't play there already, we will be checking names. If you choose to replay your round, that is the only round that will count, you can't choose which score to post. Again, we have all the scorecards from the Aug event and will know if you played a second time.
Handicaps will not change from what they were when this event originally started, the same hncp's will apply regardless of what scores are entered for you over the next three weeks. So please pay attention to what your hncp was for this event when you check in. They will have the original list at the check in desk again so mark the division you intend to play prior to your round on your scorecard based on it.
As far as this event going towards your eligibility towards the championship, we will not close out the event until after the Sept completion but if you played the event in Aug. it will count towards the three events played to qualify to be able to play in the championship and for the free passes given away at the end of the year. Obviously, season points can not be tallied up until all rounds are closed out so that announcement will be delayed until after the completion of all events
