That's a wrap on our 2025 fall trap season with the Illinois State High School Clay Target League. As a team, we finished 3rd in our conference! In the female division, Maya Hofmeister placed 2nd overall with a season average of 23.5/25 and Carlee Jackson placed 5th overall with a season average of 21.7/25. In the male division, Aiden Percy placed 9th overall with a season average of 23.10/25. Thanks to our families and community for all the support this season!

Wrapping up our fall season tonight with a Best of the Best class shoot off! Competitors were Emmalyn Wilson (8th), Cody Peters (9th), Will Butler (10th), Maya Hofmeister (11th), and Kenadie Webster (12th). Juniors came up with the win and are the winners of the G.O.A.T trophy with Maya shooting a 25 with a final score of 49/50.

The whole team celebrated with our signature blacklight shoot. Thank you to everyone who supported us during the Fall 2025 season. Final season results will be posted next week!

On Saturday, October 18, the West Prairie Trap Team traveled to the West Quincy Gun Club for the Section XI FFA Trap Shoot.

In the female division, junior Maya Hofmeister placed 3rd with a score of 47/50, freshman Brynlee Finch placed 8th with a score of 41/50, and junior Carlee Jackson placed 10th with a score of 38/50.

In the male division, junior Aiden Percy placed 9th with a score of 46/50.

Overall, the West Prairie squad #1 tied for 3rd place out of 23 teams. Squad members were junior Maya Hofmeister, junior Aiden Percy, junior Cameron Peters, sophomore Alisa Wilson, and freshman Ethan Sartorius.

A huge congratulations to all 27 team members who participated in the event!
