Welcome to the 2026 season!!! Regardless of which particular seasons you go out, we wish you the best of luck! If you are successful in harvesting, please feel free to reach out to Little Rack Taxidermy. Better yet, research your taxidermist before going out! π
If you're not familiar with Little Rack Taxidermy, let's take a moment......
π₯Woman owned business. This is not a full-time thing, but pieces are worked on year round. My first experience with Taxidermy was back in high school. Then, in 2013, I attended the first official
schooling at Kindred Sprits Taxidermy School. Being a member of the Illinois Taxidermist Association (ITA) and the National Taxidermist Association (NTA) has helped further my education and experience, by attending seminars, competitions and networking with fellow artists across the country.
π₯ Most of my work consists of deer: whitetail and muley, and mammals, as well as custom life-size. For each piece that leaves, I strive to have it as close as to what Mother Nature intended. Pushing the envelope to be as lifelike as possible has brought home a few awards: Pro-1 Best Professional Entry, ITA Best Professional Entry, ITA Professional Best of Category, IFOR First Lady's Choice Award, Walnut Creek Endearing Award, Van D**e Most Original & Creative Presentation Award, and Second 2 Nature Highest Scoring Mount. Taxidermy is not just limited to wildlife but also domestics! If you scroll thru the page, you will find posts with photos of Falcor, Pappy, and Thumper. All on custom carved forms!
π₯Little Rack Taxidermy also supports the youth, women, and community in the outdoors. We are strong supporters of the FFA and 4H. Throughout the year, you can find donations and raffle items. We hope you will join us in promoting our youth and community as well!
If you are not already part of the LRT family, take a look at my work. If you like what you see, please reach out!

Best wishes to you on a successful season.
May your aim be steady and true.
And wear your safety harness!
