I fell in LOVE with col

lecting when I was around 10 years old and it has been a big part of my life ever since. I love searching for cards in the wild. Whether it's boxes from my youth, garage sales or raw online purchases. Like most collectors, I love beautiful cards and when you find a box from 20 years ago there is a good chance you will have surface scratches, 20-year-old fingerprints, smudges and corner and edge issues. I watched all the online videos of how to clean and polish cards. Some were helpful, others are downright scary. I have seen videos of guys putting car wax on cards and spraying glass cleaner on them. The concept is great but the products are all wrong and can really mess up your collection. These products are full of fake colors, abrasives, fragrances and toxins. These products are not for cardboard. This left me thinking there has to be a safe and better way. Cards are valuable and the market is only going up. We should have a safe, reliable product designed for card care. I looked everywhere for safe card cleaning products and I came to a dead-end. Instead of giving up, I figured I would use my love of science, chemistry and cardboard to develop the first product to safely clean, polish and treat edges by myself. Kurts Card Care is created for collectors by a collector using only the safest natural and effective ingredients to bring your cards back to life and protect them for the future. Fixing a One Piece surface dent with a heat press.

I picked up this card in a BGS 8 because you rarely see damaged One Piece cards, and the 7 surface grade caught my eye.

We tackled this entire card from start to finish on Wednesday’s YouTube live stream in about 20 minutes. I pressed it at 165° for 20 minutes using plexiglass and parchment paper to take care of the dent.

Card care is all about having the right techniques in your toolbox. Knowing how to handle press work and keeping cards clean go together like Dre n Snoop Dogg.
