➡️See what group conversations they are having with their friends.
Do not be naive.
Get clued up.
Believe me, some of the sh% # I have seen, I think to myself
“If their mom only knew.”
Now is the time to know.
➡️Don’t immediately disregard this message with thoughts of “oh, I know my son,”
“He’s a good boy,”
“He wouldn’t say something like that”
“He not like that”
“Boys will be boys”
“He knows better than that,”
“He would never think of asking a girl for…..”
Guess what?????
They are.
Social media has taken away /stolen teens of what a relationship looked like when we were growing up.
➡️ Some boys don’t know better, others do and still hit send.
It’s your job as a parent to be all up in their business.
I will say I was shocked, saddened, disgusted by what our girls have to put up with.
They deserve better.
Even if you don’t suspect anything, at the very least be proactive and let your son know from now on you intend to monitor their ☎️.
Also, ask them, point blank,
“Do you think I will find anything on your phone that I might think is inappropriate?”
