Did you know that the 2nd Friday in January is known as Quitter’s
Day?

Nearly 23% of business goals are abandoned in the first week of January and roughly 43% fall off by the end of the month. The reason for this is the impact of optimistic planning on operational reality.

Why does this happen?

🗝️ Commitment is high, but momentum is low.

🗝️ Business slows in December creating time to dream and plan, mid- January hits and the real-world returns.

🗝️ Treating goals like additions rather than exchanges for low value tasks.

🗝️ Having vague intentions, but no systems in place to support them.

Do you feel your business goals are slipping away? Don’t double down!

How do you pivot?

☝ Stop looking at the year and simply ask yourself, “what is the one thing I have to achieve by the end of January?”

📅 Make room in your calendar for the time to work on your goal. What do you have to stop doing to achieve it.

💪 Achieve your goal from the ground up. Rather than saying you will do a marketing post every day, start with one post a week not matter what happens and build on to that as the repetition becomes muscle memory.
