We would like to thank everyone for coming out tonight and supporting the Tigers! Nice to be back home. Very proud of our kids! Staying positive and pressing forward. Hats off the True Institute Eagles. Young guys with a bright future.

We would like to thank Tiger 100 for their support of the Football team. Many thanks to the CHS band led by our fearless leader Mr Shad Steptoe. It was nice to be able to see them at halftime. Very impressive show. Very talented kids.

Many thanks as well to our Varsity Cheer Squad led by Coaches Amanda Gray & Carissa Hangar. Young ladies kept us in it. ROTC was first class as usual in pre game and we appreciate Col Moore & Sgt Finn. We appreciate Band, Band Boosters & Ag keeping the concessions rolling.

Special thanks to CHS Administrators Steve Griffin & Richard Davenport for their support, allowing us to do our jobs and their commitment to excellence. Thank you to Superintendent Thomas Register & all school board members for their support of all Washington County.

Many thanks to Field Superintendent Philip Adams as well for maintaining the football field and for his work with men on the chain gang.

We would like to thank Shiloh Baptist for having us this morning. We would like to thank the Dietrich family for pregame meal. Thank you to the Barber Family for running the merch tent. Lastly many thanks to the Laney family for post game snacks. It takes a village and we appreciate everyone very much.

We also appreciate Marianna Chevrolet GMC Nissan for stopping by recently and Jim & Jennifer Sapp for their continued support.

The JV will host Holmes County next Thursday night . Kickoff set for 6 pm.

The Varsity is off next week and will be on the road at Marianna Oct 2

He earned it!

A New Name. A Lasting Legacy. ⚾️

Last night, the Washington County School Board officially approved naming the Chipley High School baseball field Andy Compton Field, honoring Coach Compton and his years of leading the Tigers.

His legacy includes a state championship, multiple district championships, and countless young men he has invested in and impacted along the way.

An official dedication ceremony will take place during the upcoming season.
