🐅⚾ Thank You, Coach Compton ⚾🐅

As many of you probably know, Coach Andy Compton announced earlier this year that he would be retiring from Chipley High School Baseball.

For more than two decades as Head Baseball Coach, Coach Compton led the Tigers with passion, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to his players. His impact reaches far beyond the field, helping shape generations of young men while building one of the most successful eras in Chipley Baseball history.

His accomplishments include numerous district championships, multiple regional semifinal appearances, a state runner-up finish, and the 2023 FHSAA State Championship—the first baseball state championship in school history.

Thank you, Coach Compton, for your dedication to Chipley High School, your players, and our community.

📢 Reminder: A Player & Parent Meeting will be held Thursday, July 30, at 5:00 PM in the CHS Library, where we will introduce the next Head Baseball Coach of Chipley High School. We encourage all current and prospective players and at least one parent or guardian to attend.

Update on Assistance for the family of Randy McKinnie:

If anyone is able or interested in offering financial assistance, donations can be dropped off at the CHS Weight room between 8-12 Tuesday & Wednesday mornings. Checks can be made out to Randy McKinnie. Gift cards to places like Walmart would also be appreciated. If you would like to help but cannot make it by during those times please text me 850-516-3570 and I will arrange pick up in the afternoon.

Dear Chipley Community,

Last night, Randy McKinnie‘s house caught on fire in Graceville. Randy is our RB Coach for CHS Football, Assistant Basketball Coach, a PE teacher at Roulhac Middle School as well as the RMS Basketball & Baseball Coach. We are organizing an effort to take care of this family. They need our help. They had already done all their school supply shopping and school clothes shopping for this coming school year. Those items were lost in the fire along with other things. I will have more direction soon as to how to help.
