Washington College Sailing

The Washington College Sailing Team is one of the top intercollegiate sailing programs in the country.

Washington College competes in the Middle Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (MAISA).

Another successful WAC Sailing Alumni Regatta! We had a great time out on the Chester River racing and checking out all the tall ships in town for . Couldn't have asked for a better day with friends! See you next year, mark your calendars now for the first weekend in November.

Our Shorewomen competed in the MAISA Women's Fleet Race Champs this weekend, at Fordham, finishing 13th, one point out of 12th. Great job, ladies!

We hosted the last Central Series regatta this weekend to determine teams going to the Luce Qualifier this coming weekend at CNU.
Imogene and crews, Olivia and Ethan, won A Division and George with his crew, Sabi and Nora, we second in B Division.
The team was second overall, losing a tiebreaker with Princeton for the top spot.

This coming weekend we are traveling to CNU for Luce. Keep an eye on techscore to see our progress.

Our sailors competed at CNU in the Webb/Woolum Regatta this weekend. After a short wind delay, we completed all 8 races in light conditions on Saturday. Next up, we host the WAC Fall Open.

Our sailors travelled to New York Maritime to sail in the NYM Fall Open this past weekend. Heavy current and light wind was the name of the game, but we powered through 5 races in each division for an 8th place overall finish. Headed to CNU this weekend to start the second half of the season!

Congratulations to our Shorewomen Sailing Team on their 🥉place finish this weekend. They traveled to Anchor YC for the Tiger Women's Open Regatta hosted by . Challenging conditions for both sailors and RC, but all racing finished in one day. Great job ladies!

Last night we celebrated the end of the year with the rest of the student athletes. Congratulations to Imogene Nuss for being our Most Improved Sailor and to Joey Bonacci for being our Most Valuable Sailor during our season!

Our 2024-2025 season came to a close this past weekend at the America Trophy. Full day of racing on Sunday made for a great time. Thank you for hosting.

We're headed to America Trophy! We hosted 15 teams for The Grant this weekend and qualified for MAISA Open Fleet Race Champs in Cornell next weekend. Each sailor on the team worked hard this weekend running and competing in races.

2 regattas down this weekend. Thanks and for hosting this weekend. Awesome wind at both too! We wrap up the spring season in a few weeks. We are hosting Grant in 2 weeks and then the Coed Champ is in Cornell the week after.

Thank you for all your support during ! We really appreciate everything you do for us during this event and all year! Coach tried to get a sailor thank you vid from practice but ended up with this picture instead. We compete this weekend at Navy in the MAISA Women's Championship and also at Oriental, NC in SAILPACK. All your support helps make it happen!
