Want to learn to shoot? You will get the basics of using a firearm from the safety rules, how the firearm works, the ammunition to use, which eye is your dominate eye, to how to grip the firearm, how to stand when shooting, and how to line up the sights to hit your target, we will touch on the firearm laws, su***de prevention and more. Safety is the most important aspect when handling fi****ms and will be stressed throughout the class.
The class is $85 and starts at 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on June 27, 2026. Pre-registration is required with a $30 non-refundable deposit, balance due at the door. (No refund if you miss two classes.)
Bring eye protection, ear protection, a baseball cap and a firearm with appropriate ammo if you have one. If not, bring 50 rounds of .22LR and/or 9mm Luger/Parabellum ammo to use in the fi****ms I have available. I have extra eye/ear protection as well.

Centralia PD just took on our local high school rifle teams in a friendly 3-position shootout — Prone, Offhand, and Kneeling. Law enforcement and our dedicated high school athletes slinging lead side-by-side. Great vibes, solid shooting, and even better community ties. The whole community won today!

Valued Customers and Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closing of Tactical Blackout Group after over 8 incredible years of business. This decision has not come easily. Serving this community has been one of the greatest honors of my life — not just helping you find the right gear, but building lasting friendships along the way.
Unfortunately, due to recent changes in Washington State laws targeting the fi****ms industry, continuing operations in this climate has become increasingly difficult. These legal restrictions have left me with few viable options, and after much thought and reflection, I have decided it is time to close this chapter here in Washington.
Together, we’ve shared stories, passion, and a strong commitment to our rights and responsibilities as gun owners. I will always be grateful for the loyalty, trust, and support you’ve shown me and my shop over the years. It blows my mind how loyal some of you really are, and truthfully, I couldn’t have done this without you!
Please know that this is not just the end of a business — it’s a personal loss. I will deeply miss the conversations, the camaraderie, and the sense of purpose Tactical Blackout has given me.
From the bottom of my heart — thank you. Thank you for your support, your friendship, and for standing with me all these years.

Here is a list of states that Washington has reciprocity with from the WA State Attorney Generals Office site.

Idaho - Enhanced Permit only
Kansas - Standard License only
Louisiana
Michigan
Montana - Enhanced Permit only
North Carolina
North Dakota - Class 1 North Dakota permits only
Ohio
South Dakota - South Dakota Unrestricted Enhanced Permit and Gold permits only. Restricted Enhanced Permit issued to 18 to 20 year olds and Regular Concealed Carry permits are not recognized by Washington.
Utah - Utah Provisional Concealed Firearm Permit not recognized (this is the one issued to under 21 yr old).
