💫One of our favorite concepts from CrossFit is the Sickness-Wellness-Fitness Continuum.
🤔Most people think the goal is to avoid getting sick. CrossFit challenges us to think bigger. Health exists on a spectrum, with sickness on one end, wellness in the middle, and fitness on the other. While wellness means you’re functioning and getting through life just fine, fitness is about building capacity - more strength, more energy, more resilience, and more capability for whatever life throws your way.
💪Every workout, every right nutritious choice, every walk, and every good night’s sleep is a step in that direction.
🤯The fitter we become, the greater our buffer against injury, illness, and the inevitable challenges that come with aging.
