Deer Run DGC update:

We have recently finished pouring the 18 concrete tee pads for the front 9.

Hole 1 - Par 3 - 1 tee pad
Hole 2 - Par 3 - 2 tee pads
Hole 3 - Par 3 - 2 tee pads
Hole 4 - Par 4 (long)/par 3 (short) - 2 tee pads
Hole 5 - Par 4 (long)/par 3 (short) - 2 tee pads
Hole 6 - Par 5 (long)/par 4 (mid)/par 3 (short) 3 tee pads
Hole 7 - Par 3 - 2 tee pads
Hole 8 - Par 3 - 2 tee pads
Hole 9 - Par 3 - 2 tee pads

I have not finalized the footages yet so they will be communicated later.

This has been an amazing project to enhance the Harris Lake County Park disc golf portfolio to 2 courses.

Deer Run DGC will open as a 9 hole course but my vision is to add an additional nine holes in the future. I have coordinated the segregated designed land parcel with the Park manager for this accommodation. No guarantees but I’ll be pushing for this to come to fruition!

No date has been scheduled for the grand opening but we are close!

Next steps will be to concrete the basket sleeves in ground, fine prune the course & finalize course signage.

Big props to Wake County Facilities Design & Construction, Ashley Subat, Steve McMurray & Harris Lake County Park Staff for the amazing support and synergy for this new course for the “CapCity” DG Community!

I’ll continue to post updates to include when the opening date has been selected.

Pre-registration is now open for Dickerson Doubles at THE Diavolo DGC! On Friday, October 2, 2020 USDGC Champion and two-time DGPT Champion, Chris Dickerson | Disc Golf will be in CADL Country for a Bring-Your-Own-Partner unsanctioned dubs round. To enter, you purchase a disc from Chris at check-in, and teams who win their division receive a special Dickerson Doubles Champion disc! All proceeds from this event go to support Chris on tour.

Desi, thank you for all of the amazing memories you provided us as we built Diavolo DGC in 2018-2020, you fed us well after grueling work days & we will always be grateful to you & Neli Dimitrova!

We know you are smiling down upon us and we love you.

The NICU Fundraiser event will take place on the weekend of November 21 and will have associated events on that day, the day after and on Monday.

We will have a touring pro joining us again. This person has won on the DGPT and is not from North Carolina…..
