Some days leave more behind than a busy schedule.
Tension can quietly settle into the shoulders, the jaw, the breath, and the way the body moves through the day. Without realizing it, yesterday's stress can carry over into today's moments.
A mindful practice offers a chance to slow that rhythm. To step away from constant movement and create a little space for the body to soften and the mind to settle.
Sometimes, that space is all that is needed to feel a little more at ease.
Join a class at Bodies in Motion and make space for a practice that supports the whole self.

Yoga does not ask the body to arrive perfectly.
Every practice starts from a different place. Some days bring more range, some bring more resistance, and both are part of the process.
What matters is creating a consistent space to move, breathe, and gradually become more comfortable in the body. With time, movement can feel more natural, and the body can begin to open in its own way.
There is no need to wait for the “right” body or the “right” level of flexibility.
Start where the body is today.

August is here, and so is another opportunity to return to the mat.
A consistent practice is not about fitting more into the week. It is about creating time to move with intention, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what feels good in the body.
Whether the week calls for an energizing flow, a restorative class, or a quiet moment to reset, there is a place to begin. Every class offers a chance to build strength, find balance, and support overall well-being at a pace that feels right.
Save this schedule so the next class is always within reach, then choose the sessions that fit the week ahead.

Sometimes, the most valuable part of a practice is what happens in the moments between movement.
A regular yoga practice can create a space to step away from constant demands and reconnect with a steadier rhythm. Over time, that sense of balance can begin to influence more than what happens in class. It can shape how stress is met, how challenges are approached, and how much space is given to simply be present.
The practice does not need to be perfect to be meaningful. It only needs to be given the time and attention it deserves.

The quality of movement often comes down to the attention brought into it.
A more mindful approach can change the way a practice feels, helping build greater awareness of how the body responds, where tension is held, and what feels natural or restricted.
Over time, this awareness can shape the practice in meaningful ways. Movement becomes more intentional, the body feels more connected, and each class becomes an opportunity to better understand what the body needs.
Bring that awareness to the mat and explore the difference for yourself.

Balance is not something you find once and keep forever. It is something you return to, breath by breath, moment by moment, every single time you step onto your mat. Tree Pose teaches you that more than almost any other posture because it asks your entire body and mind to work together at the same time.

Your legs build the kind of quiet strength that holds you steady, your core learns to support without gripping, and your gaze finds the stillness that the rest of you eventually follows.

What begins as a physical challenge slowly becomes a practice in presence, and that presence is something you carry with you long after the pose is done.
Whether you are finding Tree Pose for the first time or refining it after years of practice, there is always something new it has to teach you.

Yoga has a way of meeting the parts of life that often go unnoticed.
The effects of a regular practice are not always immediate or dramatic. Sometimes, they show up quietly in the way a busy day is handled, the way stress is met, or the way the body responds after sitting with tension for too long.
That is what makes the practice so meaningful. It offers a space to step away from everything that demands attention and make room for what often gets overlooked.
With time, the benefits extend beyond the studio and into everyday moments.
Make space for a practice that supports more than the body. Join a class at Bodies in Motion and experience what consistent practice can bring into daily life.

Every emotion you carry onto the mat has somewhere to go. Yoga has long understood what science is only beginning to confirm: that the body holds what the mind cannot always process, and that movement is one of the most honest ways to work through it. Stress softens when you fold inward. Anxiety quiets when the breath finds its rhythm.

Anger transforms when it has somewhere intentional to land. Sadness begins to lift when the chest finally opens. And gratitude deepens when you give it a moment of true stillness to be felt.
This is what your practice is really for. Not just flexibility or fitness, but the full, honest, complicated experience of being human.

The smallest moments of pause often have the greatest impact.
In the middle of a busy schedule, taking even a few intentional minutes to move can help create a sense of balance that extends far beyond the mat. It becomes easier to focus, to reset, and to carry a little more ease into the rest of the day.
Practice does not have to be long to be meaningful. What matters most is making space for it and allowing it to become part of a routine that supports both body and mind.

Some evenings are an invitation to simply slow down.

Join us on Sunday, July 26, for a Sacred Sound Bath with Lauren. The experience begins with gentle movement to help the body relax, then moves into an immersive sound journey designed to calm the nervous system and restore balance.

Using crystal singing bowls, chimes, native drum, native flute, seed rattles, and vocal activation, Lauren creates a unique experience by tuning in to the group's energy, making every session one of a kind.

Sunday, July 26
4:30 PM to 6:00 PM

Reserve your spot through the link in our bio, and follow to learn more about Lauren and her work.
