YEAR END EVENT DETAILS!

The year end event qualifying will be on Saturday, June 20th, with check in beginning at 9am and announcements/competition beginning at 10am. You will be bowling 10 games of qualifying across the house and your pair will move together. We will take the top 8 boys and top 8 girls from qualifying to round robin match play on Sunday, June 21st.

Sunday will have match play roll call and lane draw at 8:40am and practice will commence after roll call/lane draw has been completed. Match play competitors will bowl 7 games of round robin match play, followed by a position round. Then the top 4 in each division will bowl in a TV style stepladder, with all games being streamed via Facebook LIVE.

We will have a non-qualifier sweeper on Sunday as well, for those athletes that do not make the top 8 in their division. Check in will begin at 9:45am and bowling will begin around 10am. The sweeper lane pattern will be different than what is used for the year end and will be posted at check in. The sweeper will be a 5 game, total pin format, with separate boys and girls divisions. AGAIN THIS YEAR, THE ALEXANDRIA AREA USBC IS DONATING FUNDS TO BE ADDED TO THE PRIZE FUND!!!

Entries will be accepted until 4pm Friday, June 19th. Please do not wait until the last minute. You can sign up via mjbt.org or via email at [email protected].
