Brookline Recreation is excited to announce Brookline Day 2026 will take place on Sunday, September 27th in Coolidge Corner!

Mark your calendars and get ready for one of Brookline’s favorite annual traditions, bringing together residents, local organizations, businesses, and community partners for a day filled with fun, entertainment, activities, and community spirit! ☀️

This week, Soule Early Childhood Center wrapped up their Water Safety unit.

Throughout the month of May, the preschoolers learned basic water safety skills that they continued to build on in each week. Students also learned what it means to be a safe swimmer and signed their water safety pledges.

All Brookline Recreation Offices and Facilities will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.

The Preschoolers at Soule Early Childhood Center have started their Water Safety unit!

Students are working on identifying lifeguards and safe places to swim, asking for permission before getting into the pool, entering and exiting the pool safely, bobbing and blowing bubbles, pushing off and getting back to the wall, and floating on their backs.

Brookline Men’s Softball league is looking for free agents interested in joining an adult men’s softball league playing at Brookline Avenue. If you’re looking to get on a team, meet some good people, and play competitive but fun softball, this is a great opportunity.
Details:
• Location: Brookline Avenue (2 games a week Mon-Th)
• League: Adult Men’s Softball
• Age Requirement: 25+
• Skill Level: All welcome (competitive but recreational)
