Preach

The worst thing you can do as a hitter is walk up to the plate without a plan.

You have to create a plan by

- what pitches will you eliminate
- what pitches you are going to go for

1. When it comes to assessing the pitcher these are the questions we want to ask ourself…

- what is she throwing ?
- what does she throw in certain counts?
- does she get ahead or behind ?
- her grip does she tip off any pitches ?

2. When it comes to assessing the situation these are the questions we want to ask ourselves…

- how many outs ?
- do we have base runners & where?
- how has the ump been calling?
- read the defense (shifts, positioning, ect.)

3. What are your strengths ?

- what pitches do you like as a hitter?

We are looking to hit OUR pitch!

We can do all this assessing prior to our at bat learning through our teammates at bats! Cheer your team on but also but a student of the game and have a plan!!

The 2020/2021 season has officially come to a close. Everyone who helped support this team, by participating in fundraisers, or even giving us online encouragement, likes on this page. Thank you !
To all the parents and families who took the journey with us this year thank you from the bottom of our hearts !
We started as strangers and along the way there was ups and downs, wins and losses, heat, extreme heat, cold. We played a lot of softball and each and every athlete and families were so important in the journey ! We hope your daughter leaves with some extra tools in their bag and are ready for their next adventure ! These young ladies exemplified team work, sportsmanship, and were just awesome young ladies !
Thank you all for sharing your player-daughter-Athlete with us for the past 12 months !
