The Viking Sports team was all over Massachusetts today:
☀️ Summer Camp
⚽ World Cup Watch Party with the Brookline Recreation Department at the Brookline Teen Center
🎉 Field Day in Ludlow with an awesome group of 8th graders

Days like this remind us how lucky we are to do what we do. Different communities, different events, and hundreds of smiles along the way.

Tomorrow we’re back at it again with another World Cup Watch Party at Roots Athletic Center in Westfield from 7:00–11:00 PM.

He is the President & CEO of the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce and we will help emcee the Framingham Impact Awards by giving interviews on stage with the Framingham Impact Award winning students.

The Framingham Impact Awards were created to celebrate students whose actions make their schools and community better. Students who lead, help others, bring people together, and set a positive example for those around them.

We are grateful to the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce for their partnership and their commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders.

What role does positive storytelling play in a community?

As a proud partner of the Framingham Impact Awards, Access Framingham helps tell the stories that often go untold while creating opportunities for residents to connect, learn, and engage with their community.

In this video, Jason Daniels, Executive Director of Access Framingham, and Andrea Sarvela, Director of Operations & Development, share why recognizing young people matters, why Access Framingham partnered on the Framingham Impact Awards, and how local media can shine a light on the people making a difference around us.

They also talk about the many ways community members can get involved with Access Framingham and use their platform to share stories that matter.

One of the things that has us most excited about the Framingham Impact Awards is the group of organizations that have come together to help make it happen.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest has spent years helping young people build confidence, develop leadership skills, and make a positive impact in their communities. That’s exactly why they were such a natural partner for this event.

In this video, Laura Terzigni, Vice President of the Boys & Girls Club of MetroWest shares why she believes it is important to recognize students who are making a difference, often without seeking recognition or attention.

These are the students who make classrooms better. The students who help others. The students who lead by example.

As nominations continue coming in for the Framingham Impact Awards, one thing has become very clear already. Framingham is filled with students doing genuinely good things for the people around them.

Some are leaders in obvious ways. Others are simply the kind of students who make classrooms, teams, friend groups, and communities better every day without asking for attention or recognition.

That is exactly who this event was created for.
In partnership with Access Framingham TV, the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest, the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce, and Framingham Public Schools, the Framingham Impact Awards will recognize students in grades 5–11 who are making a positive impact in their schools and community.

Students can:
• Nominate themselves
• Be nominated by a friend
• Be nominated by a parent, teacher, coach, or other grown up

We are looking for students who:
• Foster positivity in their classroom or school community
• Participate in positive school or community events
• Lead by example and help bring people together
• Make Framingham a better place through their actions
