2026 contestant Grounds Rules (subject to change if necessary)

Lucky E Rodeo Co - Ground Rules

• Rodeo attire must worn 1 hr. prior to performance
• Full rodeo attire MUST be worn around chutes and the arena.
• Rough stock rider and one (1) helper are ONLY allowed on bucking chutes, all others must be in the seating area.
• No dogs in the arena
• Time limits in the rough stock events are judge’s discretion
• Time limit in timed event boxes to judge’s discretion
• All able contestants must ride in grand entry
• No warm up in the arena
• No alcohol in or around the arena
• Barrels are a run in / run out of the arena. If you do not run out it will be considered a no time.
• There will be a sixty (60) second time limit for barrel racers to begin their run after entering the arena. One of the judges will keep time and enforce this rule.
• During Barrels there will be no other contestants either on horseback or on foot in holding area or entry way for barrel racers.

For all events…. To be considered for year end awards you must participate in 8 out of 10 HOME shows.

ATTENTION Youth barrel racers, novice bulls and newly added ranch bronc riders

The Monday of each week, you can call Paula to enter. If you are calling please call after 6:30pm…. PREFERRED method is TEXT and you can text anytime during the day. Please make sure you give your name and your event! Paula’s number is 413-281-8440, she will not answer during the day as she is at work.

Youth barrels are 17 and under, you CANNOT enter youth and open. Added money is $50 and entry fees are $30 ($20 in the pot). There must be a minimum of 6 youth barrel racers each week to have a youth division. It is a 2D (1 second) and payoff will be based on 1-10 riders 2 payouts, 11 and up 3 payouts. A knocked barrel will be considered a no time and money can be redistributed if not enough placements. Any questions ask Paula.

Novice bulls and Ranch bronc riders…. you will have to ride for 5 seconds (not 8 seconds)

Novice bulls – Added money is $100, entry fees are $30 ($20 in the pot)

Ranch bronc – Added money is $100, entry fees are $30 ($20 in the pot)

For novice bulls you can’t have a current card or have EVER held a card.

Thank you to everyone that attended the Ba****ck and Saddlebronc riding clinic this weekend. We hope to see you all this summer. Everyone put their heart into it and did great!
We bucked a little over 70 head of horse’s this weekend!!

We will stay at 9 am each morning Saturday morning we will start with meet and greet and sign forms to start the school
