2026 FHFGC 3D Archery Shoots.
Sunday, April 26 - Indoor-out Shoot. A great transition from indoor shooting to outdoor. Using our new outdoor practice range, 30 targets from 15 shooting positions, including the tower.

Saturday, May 23 & Sunday, May 24 - IBO World Qualifier. This shoot will be one of the Shooter of the Year Shoots. Non-IBO archers are welcome.

Sunday, June 28 - 30 Targets set up along the wooded trails in the club's 76 acres.

Sunday, August 23 - 30 Targets set up along the wooded trails in the club's 76 acres.

Saturday, September 19 - The Huntsman's Shoot. Perfect prep for hunting season. Tree stands, ground blinds and targets set up in realistic hunting scenarios.

The Winter 3D League is up and running. Every Wednesday from 6pm, until March 11.
Summer 3D League will start in July.

The FHFGC Archery team are launching a fundraising campaign to support and grow the program. 2026 is an exciting year for archery at the club:
The new Outdoor Archery Range will become operational
Winter and Summer 3D Leagues
Our second International Bowhunting Organization (IBO) World Qualifier Shoot
FHFGC 3D shoots including the Huntsman's shoot in September
Working with the Broadalbin-Perth School District to establish an archery presence at the club.
This fundraiser is aimed at local businesses, but anyone is welcome to become a sponsor. For $125, your business name, logo and contact information will be displayed at the club on a yard sign during 2026. (Maximum of 40 sponsors.) There will also be a large banner with all the sponsors, prominently displayed at the club.
As a thank you, you'll get 1 free pass to a club 3D shoot (not the IBO), and 1 free round of Trap shooting at the club.

We have a vote on a Bylaws revision. This was emailed to all members and discussed at the December meeting.
And our Winter 3D Archery League starts on Wednesday.

Wishing everyone a very happy New Year. (Getting this message out early.) We're looking forward to 2026 and hope to see you at the club.
2025 was a great year for FHFGC. Thank you to everyone for supporting the BOD's vision for the club, and to those who organized or participated in club activities and events. Special thank you to everyone who helps maintain our amazing facilities and keeps the club functional (much of it done quietly behind the scenes), and for all the work that's gone into this year's very visible improvements. We also greatly appreciate our new relationship with the Broadalbin-Perth School District and the wider community. Supporting youth shooting sports is our future.
None of this would have been possible without the careful stewardship and commitment to the club from countless people over the last 50+ years.

The horseshoe berm is no more!
Amazing how much can be accomplished with the right equipment and two very determined, hardworking people. Dan and Jim have been busy.
It's a little hard to see from the picture because you're looking at what's missing, so there's also a shot from last weekend. Yes, it really has only been a week. The large rock to the right in last week's picture, is now relocated to the tree line with the even bigger rock that was lurking in the berm. You can just about make them both out in the first picture. Meanwhile, the new archery range gets longer...
This would not have been possible without Broadalbin-Perth School District loaning us equipment. We are thankful for the partnership we've established this year, are looking forward to the Trap Team's return, and all the new possibilities we have for 2026.

GENERAL MEETING, Tuesday December 2nd, 7pm. All members are welcome.
CHANGE to previous range closing. Indoor Range will be closed Saturday, December 6th, 3pm - 5pm, for a Pistol Permit class. It will NOT be closed Sunday December 7th as previously stated.
Clubhouse will be closed Saturday, December 6th, 8am - 3pm for the same Pistol Permit Class.
Winter 3D Archery League begins Wednesday, January 7th, starting at 6pm.
Our Christmas/Holiday party in the Clubhouse is Saturday, December 13th, starting at 4:00pm. All members are welcome and can bring a +1. Like last year, this will be catered. Members can also bring a dish to share (we had some great food last year). The club will provide water and soda. You can bring an adult beverage if you prefer.
Please RSVP to the Secretary by November 30, if you would like to come and state whether you will bring a guest.
