These are the traditions we hold closest to our hearts… and somehow the ones we dread the most. 🧡
Last night was Senior Night and tonight was our final practice before Sectionals, and our annual mat signing.. the moment it all starts to feel real. Leave it all on the mat tomorrow 🖤🧡 Congrats to our 3 amazing Seniors 🖤 this one is for you.

Our final Senior this season is Nerieda Brisson! 🧡 this is Nereida’s first season cheering!
One of my favorite cheer memories was when we went to Sky Zone for team bonding. I didn’t expect to feel so much joy that day. It wasn’t just about jumping or having fun, it was about being together. When our whole team is together, we’re happy. That’s what makes it special.
Now that I’m a senior in high school, I am so grateful for joining cheerleading. Even though we are always busy and rarely get a break, we never complain because we’re together. When we’re happy as a team, we don’t even feel tired. Being part of this team has made this year unforgettable.
I am especially thankful for Mae. I honestly wouldn’t have been able to attend practices and events without her because she gives me rides every single day. She’s been by my side in every competition and every fun day we’ve had. I’m also so thankful for Munch. In the beginning, she gave me rides whenever I needed them and was always there when I needed help or support. I’m very lucky to have teammates like them.
I will never forget my first day. On the first day of school, Munch and Savannah invited me to join cheer, and that meant so much. And especially Brooklyn, she is one of the sweetest people I know. When I first joined, she came up to me so I wouldn’t feel alone. Since that day, she has always checked on me and made sure I was okay. She is always there when I need something. I can’t even find the right words to describe how kind she is.
To the whole cheer team, thank you. I am so thankful I joined. Even though we work hard and sometimes we argue or get tired, we always come back together. That’s what makes us strong.
And to our coaches, thank you for your patience. Even when we’re loud or a little naughty, you never give up on us. You keep teaching us, pushing us, and believing in us. We appreciate you more than you know.
Cheer has given me friendships, memories, and happiness that I will carry with me forever. 🧡🖤 we will miss you so much Nereida!! 🧡🧡

Our next Senior is Kiarra Seymour! Aka Munch! 🧡 Kiarra has cheered all 4 years of high school and was on our Sectional winning teams for 2023 & 2024 and foothills league champion for 2023! She has also earned several league honors for her flying skills!
My favorite cheer memory was winning sectionals in winter during my sophomore  year.
I would like to thank Mr. Marvin as my staff member of choice. I’ve experienced many different English teachers, though, I’ve never met one quite like Mr. Marvin. He is constantly encouraging me to push myself to be the best I possibly can, both in my academics and own personal life. My junior year was probably the first, and definitely the last, time I was ever excited to go to first period, given I had Marvin. I’ll miss journalism and short story with you. That’s one of my favorites classes because of you. I’ll never forget how you helped me further develop my writing skills. Along with this, I was able to truly find value in many things I’m good at because of you. Thank you so much for teaching me these last two years.
After high school, I would like to go to college and major in psychology. 🧡 we will miss you so much Munch! 🖤🧡

This Thursday is our Winter Season Senior Night! Join us at 6pm in the middle school gym! 🧡
First up is Senior Savannah Wood! Savannah has been cheering since OSAA and cheered all through high school. She plans to attend college with a major in political science after high school!
A Schuylerville staff member I would like to thank is my art teacher, Mr. Winslow. The last 4 years Winslow has always motivated and encouraged me not only through my art career but my academic and athletic career as well. I will forever miss the chill environment of the art room and am so appreciative to have a room and a teacher that always had my back. Thank you Mr Winslow for all you do to inspire not only me but the many past, present, and future students.
Favorite cheer memory was are Italian team dinner after Ketcham this year! We will miss you so much Savannah!! 🧡🖤🧡
