Tuesday, May 5, is Hills and Pizza Social Run- May at Soulshine Pizza - Flowood! This is a free event open to anyone at any fitness level! We'll provide a workout to do at your own pace and then head back to Soulshine! Come for the hills and stay for the pizza!
Thursday, May 7, is our Thursday Night Track Workout- May at the Jackson Prep track! This is another free event open to anyone at any fitness level! We'll do a warmup and provide you with a workout to do at your own pace. Or you can do your own workout! Come run in circles with us!
We're headed back to Waterloo, Iowa, for our 4th year at Death by 5k Waterloo! We'll see you at George Wyeth State Park!
The Emile and Brooke Craig Memorial "Run for the Kids" 5K/10K (formerly the Crayola Classic) is a Memorial Day weekend tradition! This race benefits Emile & Brooke's Kids 501c3 and New Day Mississippi 501c3! Choose your distance to help these organizations provide clothes and school supplies to Region 8 kids in Rankin County. These are the neediest of children in Rankin County and oftentimes, they are their only means of clothing and supplies for school. The race is operated totally by volunteers and nearly 100% of the money raised is spent on purchasing clothing and school supplies. Find the event link and registration link in the comments!
The $5 5K is back on May 28 at RunStrong HQ at 6 pm! Bring your $5 and a friend and come run a no pressure 5K to support the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention- Mississippi Chapter. Your can pre-register ahead of time or show up at the event! All funds raised go to AFSP Mississippi!
Death by 5k Albuquerque is coming back to Albuquerque for year 3! You can find us at Balloon Fiesta Park that weekend running all day and all night! Registration is still open so sign on up!
Coming up on June 6- see how many times you can run 11 miles at the Rez Loop Challenge! You have 12 hours (6 am to 6 pm) to complete as many 11 mile loops as you can suffer through!
Our next training cycle starts after Rez Loop Challenge! We'll be focusing on strength and endurance as we build our mileage slowly back up in preparation for Fall and Winter half and full marathons!
