The 70.3 Worlds press conference was a tale of two pro fields: caution and confidence. On the women’s side, the reigning Ironman world champion told reporters flat out, “I don’t think I can win this race,” while Taylor Knibb offered a simple “We’ll see,” and Kat Matthews admitted she didn’t have that “lion’s attitude.”
