Well .. all the work we put in finally fell into place this weekend. Everyone says batting is what makes a team win .. I can say that defense wins ball games. Any team can hit the ball, but if your defense is not on then it won’t work. Just put things into perspective on how much I focus on defense. We played 5 games this weekend with one being a 2 inning shoot out. Our defense had only 3 errors on the weekend. We made 8 double plays and our fielding percentage was .965!! That type of defense is what makes champions! We took 1st place in the USSSA Firecracker Classic! I love to see my girls win!

10 years ago today, G1 Impact began with a vision, a love for the game, and a commitment to helping players grow both on and off the field. 💜💛

Over the last decade, we’ve watched countless athletes develop into strong competitors, teammates, leaders, and amazing young women and men. We’ve celebrated championships, hard-fought battles, college commitments, lifelong friendships, and memories that will last forever.

At one point, G1 Impact even had more baseball teams than softball teams — proof of just how much this organization grew over the years and how many athletes and families became part of it.

What started as a travel organization became a family. None of this would have been possible without the players, coaches, parents, and supporters who have been part of the journey along the way.

And we know Coach Jamie is looking down proudly, rooting for every player, every team, and every success along the way. His impact, heart, and love for this organization will always be part of G1 Impact’s story. 💜

10 years later, the impact is bigger than we ever imagined — and we’re just getting started.
