Just to keep the followers of this page updated! We practice what we preach - it's all about the kids!

🎣 **REVISED 2027 HSBT SCHEDULE** 🎣

After receiving messages from multiple school coaches regarding a scheduling conflict, the High School Bass Trail immediately agreed to move one of our tournament dates.

Why? Because this has never been about egos, politics or protecting turf. It’s about creating **MORE opportunities for student anglers to fish MORE tournaments**—whether they compete with HSBT or another trail.

Some organizations wait for change. **HSBT makes it happen.**

As the foundation of high school bass fishing in our area, we’ll continue moving forward, innovating and working with coaches to make tournament fishing as easy, competitive and enjoyable as possible.

No drawn-out controversy. No excuses. Just a simple decision based on one question:

**What is best for the kids?**

The answer will always be more competitive high school bass fishing—and the High School Bass Trail will continue leading the way as the area’s innovators!

We will be opening up registration for our first tournament in the next day or so. So watch for that!!!!!

It's not too late to register for the OPEN event at Calcasieu River with the High School Bass Trail. Any high school or middle school angler is welcome to come and fish this event. We have prizes, giveaways, and awards for this event. Please share this with any angler who would be interested in fishing. High School Bass Trail cant wait to see you there!!!!

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries invites Louisiana bass anglers to take part in the Statewide Black Bass Angler Survey. The survey gathers information on anglers’ experiences, preferences, and opinions regarding the management of Louisiana’s three black bass species:

Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, and Florida Bass.

The survey will be available to Louisiana residents through December 7.

Information collected through the survey will assist LDWF and the Black Bass Management Plan Stakeholder Working Group in developing Louisiana’s first stakeholder-driven Black Bass Management Plan. The 10-year plan will guide the future management and enhancement of bass fishing opportunities
across the state, reflecting the goals and priorities identified by Louisiana’s bass anglers giving them a direct role in shaping the future of black bass fishing in Louisiana.

Hey South Louisiana - we LISTENED at the meeting! Since we had such a blast at Doiron’s Landing the last time, we decided to head SOUTH AGAIN to the Calcasieu River – River Bluff Park Launch like you requested!
