Summer in the High Country is in full swing. With all this recent rain, the river levels are rising—which means prime conditions for kayaking and tubing are just around the corner. If you’re looking to get out on the water, our neighbors over at RiverGirl Fishing Company and River and Earth Adventures, Inc. are the go-to folks to get you set up. 🛶
Whether you're planning a trip to the river, a quiet weekend camping at Julian Price Park, or a rugged trek through Grandfather Mountain State Park, Elk K**b State Park, or the Linville Gorge Wilderness—all of which are within an hour of Boone—we want to help you make it happen. To keep our community ready for these adventures, we need your help! Our shelves are running low on camping and backpacking essentials, and we'd love to help you get your gear into the hands of someone else who will use it as much as you did. 🤝
