She just officially wrapped up high school, and we couldn't be prouder of her. The best part? She’s not leaving us just yet—you’ll be seeing her around the shop all summer before she heads off to WCU this fall!

If you see her working this week, make sure to give her a high five (or a congratulations!). We’re stoked to have her with us for a few more months of summer adventures before she starts her next chapter. 🏔️🐾

🎉🎓GEORGIE GRADUATED! 🎓🎉
We are so incredibly proud to announce that Georgie has officially graduated from App State! 🏔️✨ Seeing her balance her studies with keeping our shop running has been nothing short of impressive, and we are so honored to have been a part of this chapter.

The best part? She's sticking around for the summer so folks can still see her in the shop - when she's not out on adventures! So make sure to give her a massive "congrats" next time you see her behind the counter. 🥂⛰️

We’re Saying See You Later Down the Trail!🏔️✨
It’s that time of year—our staff is heading off to chase summer, hit the trails, and kick off some major new chapters. We’re so stoked for them, but we’re definitely going to miss having them on the shop floor!

Here is what our departing legends are getting up to:
Braeden: He’s diving into a busy summer of guiding at River Girl, working at the Hospitality House, and writing music. He’s also hitting the road for beach trips and a full thru-hike of the Colorado Trail!

Sydney: She’s off to the mountains—well, the other mountains! She’ll be working for the National Park Service in Tuolumne Meadows (Yosemite!) for the season before heading back to apply for nursing school in November.

Ada: She’s heading to the Forest Wild school to work with kids, and we are so excited for her to start at App State this fall! You can still catch her working at Recess, too.

We are so proud of you all and can’t wait to see the adventures you have this season. Regear won’t be the same without you, but we know you’re going to crush it wherever you go!

A Little Shift in Our Summer Schedule! 🗓️🏔️
Hey Regear family! As we head into the thick of summer, we’re making a few adjustments to our shop hours to make sure our team can get out and chase their own adventures.
⚠️🙅 Starting June 2nd, the shop will be CLOSED on Tuesdays⚠️🙅
Since Tuesdays have been our quietest day, it’s the perfect time for us to reset. Plus, with a few of our staff members heading off for summer jobs and field work, this gives everyone the chance to get out, hit the trails, and soak up the sunshine.

What this means for you:
Shop Hours: We will be open for business Wednesday through Monday.
Consignment: Because we’ll be closed, we will not be accepting any consignment drop-offs on Tuesdays. If you have an appointment, please make sure to book your slot for any of our open days!

📢 Consignment Update: Shifting Gears for May! 🏔️✨
Boone, y’all have been busy cleaning out those closets! Our racks are officially feeling the love, so starting today (Saturday, 5/2), we’re slowing down on apparel to make more room for the gear you need for summer adventures. 🛶🚲
The New Rule: The "Quick 5" ✅ For the next week, all consignors are limited to 5 items total per drop-off.
What does this include? Anything and everything! Whether it’s a rain shell, a pair of boots, or a tent, the total count must be 5 items or fewer.
The Goal: Quality over Quantity 🧼 Since we’re limiting the number of items, we’re asking you to bring us your absolute best. Make sure your "Top 5" are clean, trail-ready, and in great shape.
A quick reminder: ❌ No bike trainers at this time.
We can't wait to see the "best of the best" you’ve been pulling out of your gear closets. See you at the shop! 🤘⛰️

Syd is currently balancing her EMT and CNA certifications with a deep love for rock climbing and mountain biking. She brings "rabid raccoon" energy to the trail and has some very strong opinions about footwear that might stir the pot! 🦝⛰️

Whether he’s guiding on the river or working at the Hospitality House, Braeden is a High Country local through and through. He’s currently on a quest for the world’s most perfect backpack and will fight anyone who says cooking rice is easy. 🍚🥊
